Our responsibility is to provide you with a healthy well socialized puppy, which contains all the necessary attributes needed to become a loyal, loving and faithful hunting companion and/or family pet. Toward this end, Innishfree Puppies are born and raised inside the home of Michael and Linda Kelly. They are provided a safe and clean environment where they are watched carefully and receive lots of human as well as other dog contact. Before their 8th week of life each puppy will see a certified and licensed veterinarian for a complete health check, worming, 5/1 vaccination and microchiping (puppies DO NOT have their dewclaws removed).

Payments can be made by check (no personal checks accepted after 6 weeks of age - after 6 weeks we can hold your puppy till your personal checks clear typically 2 weeks), Wells Fargo funds transfer (if you are a Wells Fargo customer) or bank wire transfer (preferred), US Postal money order, certified check, or Western Union. Payments are due in full by 6 weeks of age and must clear before puppies will be allowed to leave.

What should you should bring with you when you pick up your puppy...

Buyer Health Check

Buyer agrees to have their puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of receipt, at buyers expense, and continue the puppy vaccination schedule. If any major health issues are discovered that are not related to the stress of re-homing, buyer may return the puppy. A replacement puppy of similar quality will be provided when available.

Training / Care

Buyer agrees to provide proper and reasonable care for their dog, including adequate shelter, nutrition - including vitamins and minerals, administration of all recommended vaccinations and veterinary examination as well as basic obedience dog training.

Innishfree cares very much about the life long care of these pups and does not want you ending up with a puppy you can't care for or don't want. If at anytime you find that you are unable to care for your puppy / dog please contact us and we will do everything possible to help you find a suitable home.

Hip Dysphasia: Is a problem that has anguished dog owners and breeders for years but, it no longer has to affect you and your dog. The reigning myth - which unfortunately still clouds much of veterinary thinking to this day - is that hip dysplasia is an inherited condition. In the sixties, the Orthopedic foundation for Animals (OFA) came into existence, an organization established to gather data on dysplastic dogs and to issue certificates to nondysplastic animals. It was hoped that this would facilitate selective breeding and help eliminate the problem. Dr. Belfield was never able to find a genetic pattern! In fact, he saw males and females certified by OFA produce dysplastic pups and dysplastic parents produce normal offspring. During a five-year period, Dr. Belfield monitored three different German Shepherd bitches. At the end there were a total of eight different litters where both mother and puppies were supplemented with vitamin C. In each case, one or both of the parents was dysplastic or had previously produced dysplastic puppies. Through all eleven litters, not one puppy showed any dysplasia as determined by X ray. It is for this reason that Innishfree strongly recommends Dr. Wallach’s Arthydex and or another pet vitamin of similar quality along with good levels of Dr. Belfield's Mega C (included in your "Home Pack") to give your pup the best opportunity to avoid hip problems. Replacement Procedure

While there is every reason to expect that your dog will arrive to you healthy and disease free. If any major health issues are discovered during the first 72 hours, that are not related to the stress of re-homing, we will work with you and your vet to treat the puppy or you may return the puppy at your expense and a replacement puppy of similar quality will be provided when available.
