April 2004 edition of Outdoor Life Magazine
A great looking dog smart, broad chested, good noise, very pretty dark fox red color. He has been throwing GREAT looking puppies! He was faster and easier to train then his dad and in fact, he may be an overall better specimen than his sire just not as famous...YET!
Point Doctor "Buck" weighs 65 pounds and is 23 inches at the withers

Raised in the heart of South Dakota's pheasant country. Remington "Remi" is a proven hunter and a nice looking red fox labrador. She is a sweet natured dog when in the home but let her loose in the field and she knows how to get the job done!

Remington, aka Remi, was born September 28, 2006. Since she was born, she has been very active and obedient. Almost everyday she goes on a walk or run. Sometimes she is leashed and other times she is not. Even when she is not leashed, she knows that she needs to stay close. She knows what she can and can not do, kind of like a child, knowing the difference between right and wrong.
Remi listens very well not only to her owners but to others also. She has been hunting every year since she was born. She even knows when it is time to go hunting. She has hunted with many different groups, which some of those groups also had hunting dogs. Remi seems to get compliments from all the groups that she has hunted with, even out-of-state hunters who also have hunting dogs. During the hunt, she will point to where a pheasant is hiding and then flush the pheasant up to shoot. When the pheasant is shot, she will track the pheasant down and carry it back to you. She performs this duty in any environment that she has hunted in.
Remi has grown up around many children. She has had nieces and nephews that enjoy playing and romping with her. During these playtimes she has always shown the even temperament that labs are famous for. Recently, there was a small addition to the family. Remi has adjusted very well to this addition and loves this child. Even though he is not old enough to play with her yet she still enjoys spending time with the little guy Buck and Remi have been bred to produce pups with that natural desire and ability to hunt. They have been paired to produce pups with that friendly labrador disposition that results in terrific pets. Buck and Remi should have pups with that rare red fox coat color that stops folks in their tracks so, they can tell you how gorgeous your dog looks! Strong hunting drive, smooth gait, endurance in the field, intelligent and loyal companion and family pet are the goals we are expecting to meet with this special breeding.

good working, good all around hunting companions & pets!

We are honored to facilitate in the placement of these puppies.
Unfortunately, the folks at Innishfree will not get to be involved in the direct day to day care of this litter. We will visit as often as possible since we just can't resist holding, hugging and helping as much as mom will allow. In the mean time we will be in close contact with Yonika's owners and sharing with them in great detail what you are looking for to ensure the best match for each puppy and new owner. We will be sharing photos and information with you by phone, email and this website. We will be assisting Remi's owners with temperament testing and any travel arrangements that will need to be made. We will be your contact person for all information and questions that come up for these special pups.

Hey Linda,
We just wanted to thank you again for helping us find our newest member of our family. Ellie is doing great. She is starting to sleep through the night with only one or two potty breaks throughout the night, but has done a great job learning that her kennel is her space. She knows the sit, come, and stay commands already, and is learning new things every day. She love Casey, our 3 year old lab and they play together all day long. Casey is starting to get used to her too. Here are a few pictures for you to enjoy.

So much excitement as the pups learn, grow and are busy exploring their world!
From 3-4 weeks your puppy begins the most critical social development period of his life – he learns social interaction with his littermates, learns how to play and learns bite inhibition. He’ll also learn discipline at this point – Mom will begin weaning the pups around this time, and will start teaching them basic manners, including accepting her as the leader of the pack. Puppy mush has been introduced to the pups this week and the transition to solid food will continue as Mom gradually weans them.

Much more then just a pretty Labrador Retriever puppy!
Labrador Retrievers have been at the top of the AKC list of favorite dog breeds for a long time and with this popularity many lab breeders have bred just for the friendly temperament or just for the color. These are often the pups you see for sale for $50 - $500 bucks in your local paper. You will often recognize these, all be it sweet, labs when you look into their eyes and realize that there just is not much going on upstairs. And, you really see it when you start trying to train these pups and they just don't seem to get it! The true nature and purpose of a Labrador Retriever is a dog that is an all-around family companion, great with children, friendly to people and other dogs, an easy-keeper for an active family, a loyal friend and an eager hunter in the field. As a responsible breeder our goal is to not just produce some of the best looking fox red lab pups on the market but to do our best to improve the breed by bringing out the best of the best in all of the desirable lab traits while still maintaining health and soundness.
